Suspect in Wawa robbery case captured in surveillance video.
Police hope that a surveillance video of a June 13 armed robbery at a Wissinoming convenience store will help them identify the perpetrator.
The crime occurred at 3:44 a.m. at the Wawa at 6101 Harbison Ave. The robber entered the store and waited for a cashier to finish serving a customer. He then pulled out a knife, went behind the cashier’s counter and took $300 from the register before fleeing on foot.
He was last seen running northbound on Harbison Avenue.
The suspect is black, 20 to 30 years old and about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He wore a blue hooded sweatshirt with the Nike logo on the front and black shorts.
