A Strahle Street man who was driving the wrong way on Aramingo Avenue was killed early Saturday in a three-car accident, police said.
Angelo Mills, 25, of the 1600 block of Strahle Street, was driving his 1996 Honda Civic northbound in the southbound lanes of Aramingo’s 4000 block at 2:33 a.m. Saturday, police said, when the Civic struck a 2005 Buick LeSabre, forcing that car into a 2010 Nissan Rogue.
Mills was pronounced dead at the scene, police reported. All three of the LeSabre’s occupants were injured. One, a 20-year-old woman was listed in critical condition with internal injuries at Hahnemann Hospital. A 43-year-old woman’s left ankle was broken. A 22-year-old man was listed in stable condition. Police did not report his injuries.
Police did not release the names of the injured people, and said the Nissan’s driver was not injured. ••
