An armed robber who struck at a Parkwood convenience store on Aug. 18 remains on the loose, Philadelphia police said.
The masked crook entered the 7-Eleven at 3224 Byberry Road at about 11 p.m., pointed a handgun at a clerk behind a counter and announced a robbery, police said. The employee surrendered an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
The unknown robber was last seen fleeing the store southbound on Academy Road. Police did not specify if he was on foot or in a vehicle.
The bandit was described as white, about 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 175 pounds. He wore a blue/gray hooded jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers. Authorities consider him armed and dangerous.
