A Castor Gardens man is facing child pornography charges as a result of the Pennsylvania attorney general’s investigation into the online sharing, downloading and distribution of sexually graphic images of minors.
Authorities arrested David Adduci, 35, of the 2200 block of Knorr St., on Aug. 28 following an eight-month investigation. In a news release, the Attorney General’s Office stated that Adduci downloaded images of children as young as 3 engaged in sexually graphic activity. Agents searched Adduci’s home and seized computers and other electronic equipment, which will be analyzed forensically for illegal files.
No further details were released. Adduci was charged with one count each of distributing and possessing child pornography. He was not charged with producing or manufacturing child pornography. He was released on Aug. 28 after posting 10 percent of $25,000 cash bail. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Sept. 16. ••
