Rhawnhurst girl to sell charitable bracelets

Cerena O’Neill, a 10-year-old Rhawnhurst girl who sells bracelets and T-shirts to raise money for charity, will be attending two upcoming craft shows.

Cerena, a fourth-grader at Resurrection of Our Lord Regional School, will be at Father Judge High School on Saturday, Oct. 19, and St. Hubert on Saturday, Oct. 26.

The show at Judge, located at 3301 Solly Ave. in Holmesburg, runs from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.The show at St. Hubert will go from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the cafeteria. The entrance is at Bleigh Avenue and Ditman Street.

Cerena began raising money for good causes last year after seeing a television commercial for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.

The money she raises has gone to St. Jude, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Variety Club and charities benefiting the fight against autism, lupus, pancreatic cancer and other cancers.
