A Montgomery County woman died after her car collided with a school bus on Roosevelt Boulevard in Somerton last week.
Police identified the victim as Dana Gabriela, 45, of Elkins Park. On Oct. 8 at about 4 p.m., Gabriela was behind the wheel of a car exiting the Boulevard Plaza shopping center on Plaza Drive when she tried to make an illegal left turn onto the Boulevard, police said.
Her car collided with a school bus that had no children aboard, then struck another car. Paramedics took Gabriela to Aria Health’s Torresdale Campus, where she was pronounced dead at 4:50 p.m. Police reported no injuries to the other motorists. ••
