Bicyclist killed in Holmesburg

Police have released the identity of the bicyclist who was shot and killed on a Holmesburg street on Nov. 1.

Victor Lambert, 31, of the 8000 block of Ditman St. was riding a bike on the 4500 block of Rhawn St., about one block from his home, at about 2:30 a.m. that Friday when an unknown gunman shot him once in the face at close range.

Police reportedly found two spent shell casings nearby. The motive is unknown. Police have made no arrests and have identified no suspects. ••
