Police arrested one gunman but are searching for two more who robbed two women inside a Northeast motel room last month. The holdup occurred on Oct. 28 at the Roosevelt Motor Inn, 7600 Roosevelt Blvd. According to police, two women ages 19 and 21 heard a knock at their door at about 2 a.m. and opened it. The robbers entered the room, brandished handguns and demanded the victims’ valuables.
The crooks made off with cell phones, cash and a laptop computer. Surveillance video showed one of the robbers entering a red 1999 Dodge Dakota pickup truck with PA tag YVS-8193. Police arrested one of the alleged robbers, Jonathan Alleyene, 25, of the 300 block of S. 43rd St.
Two other robbers remain unidentified. One was described as black, about 25 years old, about 6 feet tall and thin. He had a moustache and beard and wore a blue/gray baseball cap, dark blue jeans and a blue hooded sweatshirt. He was armed with a handgun.
The other unknown robber was described as black with a red beard and wearing blue jeans, a burgundy hat and a sweater.
