Look out for Santa on SEPTA

Every year, Santa rides SEPTA on the day after Thanksgiving, and, so he will again this year, for the 23rd time.

The red-suited bringer of holiday cheer and his entourage will ride the Market-Frankford Line in a specially decorated Santa Express on Friday. When they get to Center City, they’ll lead a parade through the Gallery.

The big man will be leaving the Frankford Transportation Center at 10 a.m. on a train that will arrive at 11th Street at about 10:22 a.m.

Displaying his well-known ability to be in more than one place at once, St. Nick also will be boarding the Broad Street Line at the Fern Rock Transportation Center and head south at 10 a.m. Friday. ••
