For the second time, the gunman wore a Scream-face mask as he held up the Wawa at 6460 Bustleton Ave. on Nov. 26. The heist occurred at about 3:24 a.m. when the robber pointed a gun at a clerk and demanded money from the cash registers. The robber fled on foot toward a rear alley.

The crook wore a similar disguise on Nov. 21 when he robbed the same business at about 3:27 a.m. The business was also targeted on Oct. 1 and Nov. 4. Detectives believe that the same robber donned a skull mask in both of those instances. An accomplice took part in the first heist, but the lead robber apparently acted alone in the ensuing three, according to police.

Authorities did not disclose the amount of money stolen in any of the robberies. Wawa has offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robbers.

The lead crook has been described as black, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a thin build. He typically has worn a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and work boots.
