Fire claims two lives in Far Northeast home

Two men died in a fatal fire in a Far Northeast home Saturday. The men, who were not named, said Capt. Clifford Gilliam, were believed to be a 69-year-old man and his 32-year-old son.

The fire in the cul-de-sac row house on the 12000 block of Salina Place was reported at 9:07 a.m. Saturday, the captain said, and firefighters arrived to see smoke at 9:10 a.m. The victims were found in the home after the fire was under control at 9:37 a.m., Gilliam said. The fire’s cause remains under investigation, he said. ••
