Tacony bank robbed Jan. 10

An unidentified robber held up a Tacony bank on Friday afternoon.

According to the Philadelphia FBI office, the crook walked into the Citizens Bank at 6958 Torresdale Ave. at about 1:41 p.m. and handed a demand note to a teller. The teller surrendered an undisclosed amount of cash to the man, who fled in an unknown direction. The robber was described as black, in his mid-20s, 5 feet 9 inches tall and slim. He had a beard and wore a blue hooded sweatshirt with black pants and black gloves. Call the FBI at 215–418–4000 or Philadelphia police at 215–686-TIPS to report information. ••
