Orleans Technical Institute, a nonprofit post-secondary career school at 2770 Red Lion Road, will hold an information session about its human services training program on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 10 a.m. The next class will begin in March.
Graduates can earn a diploma in six months and can transfer credits toward a degree in social work or a related field at Community College of Philadelphia or Springfield College. The program addresses working with an array of populations, such as individuals with disabilities, troubled teenagers, those in recovery, victims of abuse and the frail elderly.
