Tank is a silly-looking, 1- to 2-year-old, medium-sized, 59-pound terrier mix. He is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. His tag number is A18753422.
The dog is at the shelter because his previous family could no longer care for him. He would love to be back in a home as soon as possible so he can run and play. He loves people and being pet. He is full of energy, but has a mellow side to him.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Harris is a young, little blotched tabby with a very adorable personality.
He enjoys being with every person he meets, and is great around other cats.
Harris is in foster care via Forgotten Cats. He is neutered and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.

Pretty Pearl
Pearl is a playful 2-year-old gal who loves belly rubs, feather toys and giving kisses. She and her kittens were living outside when they were scooped up and brought inside to safety.
The kittens have all been placed, and Pearl is looking for her permanent home. She does not get along with dogs.
Pearl is spayed and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses. She is in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.
