Vogt holds Drama Club signups

Vogt Recreation Center, at Cottage and Unruh streets in Tacony, is holding registration for its drama club.

Registration is open weekdays from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The club will meet Thursday nights in March, April and May, culminating with a small production in June. It is open to kids in third through eighth grades.

Children will learn voice, staging, costume design, set design and script writing.

There’s a $5 registration fee. The monthly fee is $10.

Patient Appreciation Day is Feb. 19

McCormick Family Chiropractic, at 1031 N. York Road in Willow Grove, will hold a Patient Appreciation Day on Wednesday, Feb. 19, to benefit the nonprofit Oklahaven Children’s Chiropractic Center in Oklahoma City.

The event will run from 8 a.m. to noon and 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Up to 20 new patients will receive free screenings, and a raffle will be held for gift cards to local restaurants LaFusion, Mad Mex and Pasta Fazool. There will also be a scavenger hunt and healthy treats.

Donations will be accepted for the center in Oklahoma.

Prom dress drive in Mayfair

The Mayfair Community Development Corporation is organizing a prom dress drive for high school junior and senior girls who attend St. Hubert, Abraham Lincoln and New Foundations Charter high schools or who live in Mayfair and attend another high school.

The Mayfair Community Center, at 2990 St. Vincent St., will take donations of gently worn dresses, shoes and accessories on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11 a.m. and 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Dresses can be any size and should be free of major rips, tears or stains. Girls can visit the center on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to check out the available dresses. The snow date is Sunday, Feb. 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. ••
