Robbers shot an Oxford Circle man four times as the victim walked near his home on Monday night, according to Philadelphia police.
Police identified the victim as a 28-year-old man. The shooting occurred near Loretto and Magee avenues at about 9:30 p.m. when two robbers forced the victim to lie on the ground while they took his belongings, including about $500 cash. Even though the victim surrendered his stuff, the crooks shot him anyway.
The victim suffered wounds of the torso, groin and thigh, police said. He was taken to Aria Health-Torresdale in critical but stable condition. Police have not released detailed descriptions of the robbers. ••
