An armed robber struck at an Upper Holmesburg 7-Eleven store on Feb. 11.
Police have released surveillance video of the heist, which occurred at about 4:55 a.m. at 9001 Frankford Ave. The robber initially posed as a patron, picked up an item from one of the shelves and carried it to the cashier’s counter. The crook then handed money to the clerk as if to pay for the item. But when the clerk opened the register, the robber pulled a gun and demanded cash.
