The presentation was part of the seventh annual OfficeMax A Day Made Better advocacy program. Silverio Rojas, the store leader from the OfficeMax location near Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard, represented his company.

Crossan principal Lynne B. Millard nominated Foley for her extraordinary efforts in the classroom. The principal also presented the teacher with flowers. Foley also received a framed certificate of appreciation. The donated supplies included a laptop computer, a chair, a digital camera, a labeler, crayons, erasers, tape, glue, pens, pencils, highlighters, notebooks and paper.

In addition, school advisory council president Nancy Ostroff presented laptops, sports equipment, books, notepads, paper and office supplies on behalf of her group and the Home and School Association. ••
