The earlier heist occurred last Saturday at TD Bank, 9996 Haldeman Ave. An unknown man entered the bank at 10:16 a.m., handed a threatening demand note to a teller and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. He fled on foot westbound on Red Lion Road. A witness also saw what appeared to be the same man sitting in the driver’s seat of a gray SUV while looking at the bank. The vehicle was seen traveling southbound on Haldeman Avenue.

The robber was described as white, 40 to 50 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall and thin with an “Eagles” knit cap, a long gray wig and a red jacket bearing the “Marlboro” logo.

Another robbery occurred on Monday at Citizens Bank, 7248 Rising Sun Ave., when an unknown man entered the bank at 1:27 p.m., and showed a threatening demand note to a teller. He obtained an undisclosed amount of cash, ran across Rising Sun Avenue, then through the Quaker Diner parking lot.

The crook was described as black, 20 to 30 years old and 5 feet 5 inches tall with a medium build. He wore a gray hooded coat, camouflage pants, brown boots and a green baseball cap with red lettering.
