Police were called to Jean’s Pizza at 3252 Ryan Ave. at 4:44 a.m. and found that someone had broken into the business through a plexiglass panel in a side door. Investigators recovered surveillance video from the business that showed a man removing a white plastic bucket containing an undisclosed amount of cash. The crook fled the shop through the alley between Ryan Avenue and Guilford Street toward Crispin Street.

The burglar was described as white, 20 to 30 years old with short dark hair and a medium build. He wore a blue jacket with white stripes on the sleeves and blue jeans.
