Cops seek stranger with candy

An unidentified man suspiciously offered candy to a 10-year-old girl at her Far Northeast bus stop on June 9, according to police, who seek the man for questioning.

The youngster refused to take the candy, so the man threw it at the girl and told her to share it with her friends, police said. The episode occurred on the 3800 block of Ronnald Drive in Chalfont at about 3:15 p.m. Police did not describe how the encounter ended and who reported it to authorities.

The man was described as white, in his mid-20s, thin, with a pale complexion, brown hair, a black shirt and baggy black shorts. Call the Special Victims Unit at 215–685–3251 to report information about the case or call 911 in an emergency. ••
