Chelmar is an adorable 1- to 2-year-old, female, 48-pound terrier mix who was found as a stray.
The dog is having a good time at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., especially playing with toys, but she wants a permanent home. Her tag number is A22744893.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
Jenna is full of joy
Jenna is a sweetheart of a cat saved from the city streets. She is in foster care via Northeast Animal Rescue.
The 9-month-old cat had her left hind leg amputated because of a severe injury. Still, she is playful and gets along with other cats. She will do best in a home without young children.
Jenna is spayed and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
