The Barkann Family Healing Hearts Foundation is teaming with Rita’s Water Ice to celebrate the end of the school year — and the start of summer — while benefitting a great cause. The Blowout Bash: Scooping for Hearts will be on Thursday, June 19, starting at 6 p.m. at Rita’s original location, 3610 Bristol Pike, in Andalusia.
The Bash will kick off with an appearance from the world’s greatest mascot, the Phillie Phanatic, followed by celebrity scooping courtesy of the Kinniry and Szafram families. The evening will also feature live DJ music from M Entertainment, PlayStation and Wii games for the kids on the Gamin’ Ride truck as well as a visit from the Trevose Fire Company truck.
