Philadelphia were invited to enter the Rising Sun Plaza Ed Cutler Memorial ÒMy MomÕs/DadÕs The GreatestÓ Essay Contest. Prizes were awarded at the Roses Discount Store.
Rising Sun Plaza, at 5675 Rising Sun Ave. in Crescentville, recently honored the winners of the annual Ed Cutler Memorial My Mom/Dad is the Greatest Essay Contest.

The overall winner was Khalija Baldwin.
The runner-up was Christian Purnell. The third- through sixth-place winners were Eric Barnes III, My Ho, Tariq Moore and Shayla Gainey.
Diane Hoffman, an employee of Roses Discount Store, helped present the awards. ••
