Authorities identified Louis Scott, 24, as a Philadelphia resident. Members of the FBI’s Bucks County Safe Streets Task Force, along with an FBI SWAT team, located and arrested Scott in the area of Roosevelt Boulevard and Stevens Street. He allegedly had heroin and a gun in his possession at the time. The FBI and Bensalem Township police had been seeking Scott since May.

Scott was wanted by Bensalem police for drug dealing, reckless endangerment and fleeing police. He was also wanted by Bristol Township police in Bucks County, as well as authorities in Mercer County, N.J., for fleeing police, firearms violations and parole violations.

According to the Bucks County Courier Times, Scott is known by the nickname “Ace” and is an admitted former member of the Bloods street gang. In November, he allegedly led Bristol Township police on a vehicle pursuit that ended when he crashed his car into a middle school. Police allegedly recovered a gun from his car. In June, undercover Bensalem police allegedly engaged him in a drug deal, but Scott escaped. He had been “hiding out” in the Northeast since then, the newspaper reported.

Following Scott’s arrest, District Justice Dave Baranoski arraigned him in Bucks County and set bail at $450,000. Scott remains in Bucks County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of bail. ••
