Students at Universal Creighton Charter School at 501 Tabor Road hosted their inaugural Multicultural Day on May 23 in celebration of their own diversity and diversity in the community.

Students embraced diversity, cultural awareness, sharing traditions, understanding values and beliefs, gaining a sense of identity and recognizing the contributions of all ethnicities through dance and music.

Pupils researched information about various countries and decorated the hallways in European, South American, Asian, African and Caribbean themes. They learned about the customs, art, music, foods and lifestyles of others. ••

A cultural experience: Students and faculty at Universal Creighton Charter School celebrated cultures from around the world as part of Multicultural Day on May 23.
