An unidentified man in a Chicago White Sox hat robbed a Frankford credit union branch on July 15, authorities say. The FBI and Philadelphia police are trying to find the culprit who used a threatening demand note to obtain cash from a teller. The heist occurred at American Heritage Federal Credit Union, 2185 Bridge St., at about 11:12 a.m. With cash in hand, the robber fled in an unknown direction.

He wore a black polo shirt, khaki shorts and a black White Sox cap with block lettering on the front and a light brim. No gun was seen in the robbery, but the crook is considered armed and dangerous.
