Detectives are trying to identify two suspects and a witness in the Aug. 13 robbery of a 7-Eleven in Northwood.
Surveillance video shows two men as they collaborate in the heist, which occurred at about 2:54 p.m. at 5259 Oxford Ave. One crook can be seen waiting at the door while the other enters the store with a handgun, jumps over the cashier’s counter, strikes an employee in the head and demands money. When the employee opens the register, the gunman grabs the cash. Both robbers fled northbound on Oxford Avenue, police said.
The video also depicts an unidentified woman patron, who police believe may have information to further the investigation.
The gunman was described as black, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build, light brown complexion, brown eyes and wearing a light green full-body garment. He also wore a light green cloth over his face, black pants and black sneakers with white stripes. The accomplice was described as black, stocky, wearing a gray hoodie with light gray stripes, along with light gray sweatpants.
