Shadow is a handsome 7-year-old lab mix who was surrendered to Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., because his former owner did not have time for him. His tag number is A23665006.
The senior guy has a lot of pep in his step. He wants to spend his golden years in a home, not a kennel.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••

Gus and Woodrow are Northeast Animal Rescue alumni who came back to the group when their owner passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Gus is playful and goofy; he loves his toys and drinking from the sink.
Woodrow is his more reserved brother, but once he warms up to you, he has the loudest purr motor you have ever heard.
Both boys enjoy their treats and chasing the laser pointer.
The 4-year-old cats are neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
