Daniel McElhatton
Daniel P. McElhatton, of the law firm McElhatton Foley, with offices in Center City and Cherry Hill, New Jersey, was recently selected chairman of the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
McElhatton is a former assistant district attorney and city councilman. He ran for district attorney in 2009.
Over the years, he has chaired Keep Philadelphia Beautiful and the Community College of Philadelphia Board of Trustees and served as a member of the Board of Ethics and the local American Red Cross. ••

The next Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce speaker will be Archbishop Charles J. Chaput. The event is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 31, at Knowlton Mansion, Rhawn Street and Verree Road in Fox Chase. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 a.m. The luncheon starts at noon.
On Friday, Nov. 7, the Chamber will hold its annual Accolades Awards Celebration at Brookside Manor at Somerton Springs, 50 Bustleton Pike in Feasterville. The honorees will be Nazareth Hospital, Dietz & Watson and businessman Rodney C. Sandmeyer. A reception will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and awards presentations at 7:30.
