The Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce honored Nazareth Hospital, businessman Rodney C. Sandmeyer and Dietz & Watson at its annual Accolades Awards celebration at Brookside Manor at Somerton Springs, in Feasterville.
Nazareth Hospital received the Crystal Vision Award. Sandmeyer is executive vice president of Sandmeyer Steel Co., located on Red Lion Road. He received the Fellowship Award, given to someone “who has achieved the highest level of professional excellence, devoted time and energy to the community and the NE Chamber.” Dietz & Watson took home the Francesca Award.
The keynote speaker was Alan Greenberger, the city’s deputy mayor for economic development and director of commerce. He spoke on Commerce and the Future of Philadelphia.
Musical entertainment was provided by the Blu Dogz. Sister Maureen McGarrity, president of Holy Family University, delivered the invocation. ••
