She’s a Miracle
Miracle is an 8-year-old dog who was surrendered to Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. due to “landlord issues.” Her tag number is A24702012.
The dog looks like she’s had a hard life and was not very well cared for. Still, she seems friendly with dogs through the fence, is laid back, good on her leash, knows the sit command and takes treats nicely.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
Douglas is a delight
Douglas was spotted by a very nice lady who saw that he was hiding out in her yard because he had an injured leg. He is now in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.
The cat likes to sit on laps, knead and purr. He is a perfect gentleman with his food bowls and litter box.
Douglas, who will turn 3 in March, is neutered and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
