Employees saw the robber enter the store at 2900 Cottman Ave. at about 10:25 p.m. on Jan. 14, police said. The crook approached the counter, pointed a handgun at a clerk and demanded money and smokes. The worker complied. Police did not disclose the amount of money involved.

The robber was last seen fleeing southbound on Brous Avenue. He was described as white with light brown eyes and wearing a dark bandana over his face, along with a black hoodie, a dark puffy jacket with a white mark on the right sleeve, tan or brown pants and a silver gun.
