The 8th Police District Advisory Council honored Officer Charles Bondiskey as Officer of the Month during the community group’s March 4 meeting.
Bondiskey made numerous arrests and turned in an outstanding performance in all phases of his job during the previous month, according to supervisors in the district.
An aide to City Councilman Brian O’Neill, Margaret Recupido, delivered an official Council proclamation to the winning officer. Meanwhile, 8th PDAC President Bill Kinkel, Capt. Adam Friedman and Lt. Michael Labrice presented Bondiskey with an engraved plaque commemorating his achievement.
The 8th PDAC meets on the first Wednesday of each month, excluding summertime, at 7 p.m. in the district roll call room at Academy and Red Lion roads. ••
