Glenn Brennan
A Northeast Philadelphia man was arrested in Bensalem on March 4 on charges that he robbed six businesses there at gunpoint during the previous month. The same guy remains a suspect in two similar heists at a Somerton Sunoco in February.
Bensalem police identified the bandit as Glenn Brennan, 29, of the 3100 block of Morning Glory Road in Parkwood. On March 4 at about 6:30 p.m., undercover officers allegedly saw him casing a Bensalem business. The officers arrested him and found a black pellet gun on him, police said. Brennan allegedly confessed to robbing six businesses in Bensalem and five in Philadelphia.
Brennan was charged with the six Bensalem robberies, along with multiple counts of terroristic threats, theft and related offenses. He is held in Bucks County Prison in lieu of $500,000Â bail.
Charges had not been filed in Philadelphia as of Tuesday. Previously, Philadelphia police linked the robber to armed robberies at Sunoco APlus, 13000 Bustleton Ave., on Feb. 13 and 19.
Surveillance images previously released by Bensalem police showed a second man who appeared to aid in at least one of the crimes, but authorities have not named an additional suspect. ••
