Brittle is a 1- to 2-year-old female terrier mix who was left at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., with her brother Biscuit when their owner went to jail. Her tag number is A24873688.

Brittle is pretty laid back and likes most other dogs. Chew toys are her favorites.

Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.••

Wyatte loves playtime

Wyatte is a sweetheart who loves to play with his housemates and curl up with them for a nap. He is in foster care via Northeast Animal Rescue.

The cat loves attention. He gets along with the two large dogs who are his housemates.

Wyatte is 10 months old. He was recovered from animal control, which suspected he had been hit by a car. He has recovered well from his injuries, though he does have a slight limp and some partial visual impairment. He is neutered and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
