A 17-year-old girl told police that a man tried to grab her on a Lower Northeast street last week.
The incident occurred on March 10 at about 9:43 a.m. on the 700 block of Foulkrod St. The girl reported that she was walking along the street when an unknown man approached her and tried to start a conversation. She ignored him.
The man then grabbed the girl by the arm, but she broke free and ran away, police said. She was not injured. The victim described the man as black, in his 30s, with a medium build, a full beard and signs of acne on his face. He wore a black jacket and dark jeans.
