Police seek help finding Frankford man

Bruce Epperson

A mentally disabled and potentially unstable man has been reported missing from his home in Frankford. Police hope the public will help in finding him.

Bruce Epperson, 22, was last seen on Saturday at his home on the 4600 block of Oakland St. when he left during a verbal argument with his caregiver. Epperson is considered at-risk because he has the mentality of a 12-year-old and suffers from schizophrenia, police said.

Epperson is recognizable due to a speech impediment. He also has a fascination with riding SEPTA trains and buses. He is black, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 160 pounds with an average build, brown eyes, black hair and a chipped front tooth. He was last seen wearing a brown and tan striped sweater, blue or black sweat pants and Navy blue New Balance sneakers.

Call Northeast Detectives at 215–686–3153 or dial 911 to report information about him. ••
