Heather is a sweet adult terrier/pit bull mix who is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave. Her tag number is A25166450.
The dog has cropped ears and a sweet soul. She is safe after being picked up as a stray and has high hopes of quickly being adopted. She is a bit timid at first, but is fine after learning to trust and feeling loved and comfortable. She enjoys getting pet, has a playful side and walks great on the leash.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ••
Silas deserves a forever home
Silas was found as a very sick stray kitten. He is now in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue.
The 1-year-old cat has lost an eye due to his illness, but is otherwise fully recovered. He is happy and loving, likes to cuddle and is waiting for a permanent home. He is playful and gets along with dogs and other cats.
Silas is neutered and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
