Candidates to visit Holmesburg Civic meeting

Holmesburg Civic Association will meet on Tuesday, May 12, and a number of candidates in the upcoming election will be in attendance.

City Council at-large candidates who will speak to the crowd include Republican Councilman David Oh, Republican challengers Dan Tinney and Terry Tracy and Democratic challengers Derek Green and Isaiah Thomas.

Tim Dailey will also address the audience. He’s the Republican candidate in the 5th Senatorial District special election.

Mayoral candidate Jim Kenney is tentatively scheduled to appear, as is Councilman Bill Greenlee.

The meeting will take place at 7:15 p.m. at Holmesburg Recreation Center, at Rhawn and Ditman streets. ••
