Dr. Mark S. Codella, chairman of Nazareth Hospital’s medicine department and gastroenterologist with Fox Chase Gastroenterology, received the Dr. Stanley J. Skromak Award at Nazareth’s Doctors’ Day Celebration.
The award is presented annually to a Nazareth physician who exemplifies dedication to the medical profession, fosters medical education, demonstrates exemplary patient/physician interaction, and shows courtesy and respect toward everyone.
Codella joined Nazareth’s staff in 1989.
