Members of the Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy in Bell’s Corner showcased their skills and earned a large haul of blue ribbons during the Pegasus Horse Show on Sunday.

The annual event is open to all participants in the horse farm’s therapeutic riding program for people with disabilities. Riders with a variety of experience levels were given an opportunity to display their skills to family and friends in a supportive environment. All riders were awarded blue ribbons, while the top performers in various categories won first-place ribbons.

Pegasus is the only full-time therapeutic horseback riding program in Philadelphia. Founded in 1982, the organization serves children and adults with disabilities, providing more than 4,500 lessons annually.
