Temple University Health opens urgent care facility on Cottman Avenue

Temple University Health System recently opened its latest Temple ReadyCare urgent care facility at 2118 Cottman Ave. (near HorrocksĀ Street).

The facility is staffed by Temple physicians and personnel specially trained to help meet the non-emergency healthcare needs of walk-in patients. It will be open seven days a week, including evenings and most holidays.

Temple ReadyCare is an urgent care center for patients who have an unexpected, non-life-threatening illness, injury or situation that needs immediate medical attention. Patients will be able to get quality care without an appointment that is typically faster than going to the emergency room. Services include X-rays; lab testing; treatment for sprains, strains, aches and pains; immunizations; and sport, school, work and immigration physicals.
