Dakota is a 4-year-old social dog who is at Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, at 111 W. Hunting Park Ave.

Dakota gets along with all people, even small children. The dog likes to play, walks great on a leash and will run right by someone’s side.
Adoption hours are weekdays from 1 to 8 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Vera is very affectionate
Vera is a sweet young lady who was rescued from the streets. This past winter, a neighbor was able to coax Vera inside her home and called Northeast Animal Rescue for help.
Vera, 2, is affectionate and gets along well with other cats. NAR recommends a home with older children, as she likes spending time near doors, and might escape if not monitored. Vera is spayed and vaccinated, and has tested negative for the feline immunodeficiency and leukemia viruses.
