The FBI and local police seek the public’s help in identifying the robber, who has been described as black and about five feet, six inches tall with an average build. She wears a black gown, with a matching headdress and veil with only her eyes exposed. Authorities have called the outfit a burqa.

In each case, the robber entered the bank, presented a threatening demand note to a teller, indicated that she had a bomb, obtained cash and fled. Her getaway car may be a dark SUV, possibly a Nissan Rogue or Murano. She may be driving it or a passenger.

Most recently, the woman robbed Citizens Bank at 10650 Bustleton Ave. last Thursday. She also struck at Santander Bank, 9856 Bustleton Ave., on June 9; PNC Bank, 12300 Academy Road, on June 16; and Citizens Bank, 3200 Red Lion Road, on July 7.
