Recent graduates of the 17 high schools of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia earned almost $308 million in post-secondary scholarships, according to the Office of Catholic Education and Faith in the Future. More than 3,300 young men and women received scholarship awards, while 99 percent of Archdiocesan high school seniors graduated and 95 percent will pursue post-secondary education.
Among the recipients were two students who were named 2015 Coca-Cola Scholars and received scholarships of $20,000 each. More than half of the Class of 2015 were offered at least one college scholarship, while almost 6,600 scholarships were awarded. Since the Class of 2000, Archdiocesan high school graduates have been awarded more than $2.9 billion in scholarships. ••
