Congregations of Ner Zedek will be holding its 19th annual Labor Day concert. The date this year is Monday, Sept. 7.

For the 10th time, entertainment will be provided by the popular Broadway Sings professional concert production.

The concert will begin at 1:30 p.m. The theme will be, L’Chaim, which is Hebrew for “To Life.”

Ner Zedek is located at 7520 Bustleton Ave. in Rhawnhurst.

The performers are current and former stars of Broadway hit shows such as The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia and Wicked.

Firstrust Bank is the prime sponsor of the concert, which will benefit Ner Zedek.

A year ago, more than 500 people attended the concert.

“People enjoy it,” said Jack Belitsky, chairman of the concert committee. “They say, ‘Thank you for bringing them back.’”

Ron Sharpe, who has starred on Broadway, will be the master of ceremonies.

“He does a great job,” Belitsky said.

Reserved seating costs $40 apiece. The cost is $54 for preferred seating, which includes a post-concert reception.

There will also be a raffle. ••
