Suspects sought in failed car wash burglary

Three would-be burglars thought of everything in their attempt to knock off a Parkwood car wash shortly after closing time on July 14 … actually, maybe not everything.

The failed break-in occurred shortly before 7 p.m. at Ragging Waters, 810 Franklin Mills Circle. Among the three unidentified accomplices, a thin guy in a basketball outfit and backwards baseball cap apparently forgot a ladder. Fortunately for him, he was adept at scaling a roll-down security door and finding his way to the roof.

Meanwhile, a husky guy who looked kind of like a professional wrestler forgot to bring something to pry open the garage door. He also forgot to use the men’s room beforehand. So, while waiting for his climbing colleague to find an alternate entrance, he decided to unzip and take a leak against a wall.

The third suspect in the video - — a guy wearing plaid clam digger pants that might look great at the beach — forgot to bring two partners who had a plan.

A Philadelphia police news release stated, “After several failed attempts at gaining entry, the suspects left the area in an unknown direction.”
