Police have released the identity of the motorcyclist who died in a multi-vehicle crash during rush hour on Woodhaven Road on July 17.
Jeffrey Brown, 30, from North Carolina, was operating a 2007 Suzuki and speeding westbound on the expressway near Millbrook Road at about 6:30 p.m. when he struck the rear of a 2009 Ford Fusion, then struck the wall of an overpass, police said. His cycle burst into flames.
Meanwhile, a 24-year-old man on another 2007 Suzuki lost control of his cycle, was ejected and landed on the truck of the same Ford Fusion.
Brown was pronounced dead at 7:10 p.m. at Aria-Torresdale with undisclosed injuries. The 24-year-old cyclist suffered a broken left leg. ••
