National Night Out celebration announced in Fox Chase

The public is invited to a free National Night Out celebration at Fox Chase Elementary School, 500 Rhawn St., on Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m.

State Rep. Kevin Boyle and the Fox Chase Town Watch will co-host the annual event, which is among the largest National Night Out gatherings in the city. The purpose of National Night Out is to cultivate cooperation between the community and local police in the fight against crime.
